With so much to look at... the sunset, the surf, the lighthouse, and the first stars coming out... it's amazing that seat isn't taken.

Take any of the meandering trails along the cliffs to see, or at least hear, the sea lions this region is famous for. Just don't harass them.

Firefighters. July 18. Wildfires break out in Santa Clarita when a red-tailed hawk is electrocuted in the power lines and falls into dry grass. I was struck by the calmness and persistance of the firefighters I met battling the blaze. Posted by Hello
